Andrew is an Acting Coach for Stage and Screen.

Andrew trained in theatre and has directed for the Stage for over fifteen years with companies including, English Touring Theatre, Headlong and the National Theatre. He works regularly in major drama schools including the Royal Welsh College Of Music & Drama and the Guildhall School Of Music & Drama, teaches at organisations including ALT. and Open Door and coaches children and young people at the National Youth Theatre.

He has worked as the on set Acting Coach on several major film and television projects including the Emmy-nominated Masters Of The Air (Apple TV), collaborating with Cary Joji Fukunaga, the BAFTA-nominated Jerk (BBC), rehearsing the series regulars and the Cannes-acclaimed My Father’s Shadow (Element Pictures), coaching the lead child actors across a two-month shoot in Lagos, Nigeria.

He also coaches privately, preparing actors for auditions/roles and doing one-to-one training with individuals from a variety of backgrounds including, Anthony Boyle, Austin Butler, Ava Max, Barry Keoghan, Edward Bluemel, Isabella Laughland, Mary Beth Barone, Mary Malone and Seamus McLean Ross.

Whether casting, rehearsing or shooting, his approach is practical, playful and tailored to each actor’s specific needs, aiming to get the best out of everyone he works with.

His screen acting class, How To Act, helps professional actors learn new tools for approaching film and television scripts of different genres and styles.
